Sally King is the founder and research director of Menstrual Matters, a non-profit evidence-based information hub about the role of the menstrual cycle in health and wellbeing. Her popular blog looks at how menstrual taboos and myths directly contribute to gender inequalities (www.menstrual-matters.com). Before specializing in menstrual health research, Sally spent nearly a decade evaluating human rights-based policies and interventions, at three global organizations (Oxfam GB, Care International and Amnesty International). She has a Master's degree in research methods (qualitative and quantitative) and is currently completing a PhD in Medical Sociology at King's College London, on the topic of Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS).
