Dignified Menstruation Fellowship 2024

Background:

Global South Coalition for Dignified Menstruation (GSCDM) is a global network formed to change the narratives around menstruation from 5 days of bleeding to the life cycle approach. The VISION of this network is to create a society where all “Menstruators within all identities live with dignity throughout their life cycle”. The core values of GSCDM are Human Rights, Non-Discrimination, Life Cycle Approach, Survivor Centered Approach, Global Advocacy, Social Inclusion, Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights, and Accountability. This year, GSCDM is calling and accepting an application for the Global Fellowship on Dignified Menstruation from all around the world who are passionate to work around Menstruation, SRHR, Climate Change, Gender-Based Violence, or any relevant field.

The duration of the fellowship program will be of 6 months starting from July 2024 to December 2024.

Program Structure: This is a VOLUNTEER FELLOWSHIP where successful applicants will undergo comprehensive training, mentoring, and coaching on Dignified Menstruation. The program is designed to equip fellows with the necessary knowledge and skills to contribute effectively to the cause. Thus fully passionate applicants are highly encouraged to apply.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Individuals passionate about working on Menstruation, Dignified Menstruation, SRHR, Climate Change, Gender-Based Violence, or related fields from all around the world.
  • Willingness to commit to the six-month fellowship program.
  • Strong dedication to the values and vision of GSCDM.
  • Ability to participate in a potential in-person Learning Exchange Workshop in February 2025.
Application Deadline: All applications must be submitted by 25 May, 2024. 
Preparation: June 2024
Starting Date: July 1st 2024

Note *: In 2025, GSCDM might organize an in-person LEARNING EXCHANGE WORKSHOP FOR FELLOWS either in Nepal or in any other country only in the case of funding availability. Therefore, highly encouraged the applicants to start for looking for possible donors for your support.
