Global South Coalition for Dignified Menstruation, Radha Paudel Foundation in collaboration with Amplify Change, AIDS Healthcare Foundation, SETI FOUNDATION, Baijing Stoke Committee, and Plan International Nepal in solidarity with PACE Nepal, Child Protection Organization and Dignified Menstruation Campaign Nepal successfully completed the “Hybrid Conference on Dignified Menstruation” at the Hotel Himalaya, Kupondole, Lalitpur, Nepal.

⇒This year’s slogan is “Dignified Menstruation is an Integral for Ending Sexual Violence and Child Marriage”.

Theme for Reflection: We have chosen a powerful theme for reflection that we expect all participants to incorporate into their artwork. This theme holds the potential to spark meaningful conversations and provoke thought. The themes to be included in your art are as follows:

Menstrual Discrimination:

• Exploring the effects and consequences of menstrual discrimination.

• Highlighting the societal restrictions imposed during menstruation, such as restriction in touch,

• Mobility or participation, Food/Eating etc.

*Menstrual Discrimination and Child Marriage: Examining the integration of menstrual discrimination and child marriage.

*Menstrual Discrimination and Sexual Violence:

• Shedding light on the connection between menstrual discrimination and sexual violence.

Awards: On the occasion of the 5th International Dignified Menstruation Day on December 8, 2023, the Global South Coalition for Dignified Menstruation will present the following recognitions:.

• Screening of Winning 2-Minute Documentary Video:

* Global Art Competition winner’s paint will be displayed in the showcased and will be requested to the winners to sent their video explaining their paint and their interest of participating in the competition.

* Distribution of Cash Prize: Winners will be honored with a cash prize, acknowledging their outstanding contributions and efforts on Dignified Menstruation.

• Presentation of Certificates:

Each winner will also receive a certificate in recognition of their dedication and innovation in addressing Dignified Menstruation in all around the Globe.
